A light-hearted touch to the T20 World Cup 2024 final

After India secured their place in the T20 World Cup 2024 final, a playful moment involving RCB and Jofra Archer surfaced.

RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore) teased England fast bowler Jofra Archer following India's victory over England in the T20 World Cup 2024 semifinal. They unearthed an old tweet from Archer dated March 2013 where he had simply tweeted "Run Out."

During the semifinal, England experienced two runouts - Liam Livingstone and Adil Rashid were both dismissed in this manner. RCB cheekily responded to Archer's old tweet with a comment: "Run Outs."

Despite England's defeat, Jofra Archer had a commendable outing, taking one wicket and later contributing 21 runs off 15 balls, including a boundary and two sixes.

India convincingly defeated England by 68 runs, posting a total of 171/7 batting first before bowling England out for 103 in 16.4 overs.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma expressed satisfaction with the team's performance after the match, emphasising their adaptability to challenging conditions in the West Indies and the USA.

Next, India will face South Africa in the T20 World Cup 2024 final on Saturday, June 29 at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. Both teams remain unbeaten in the tournament.

RCB's tweet added a light-hearted touch to the competitive atmosphere of the T20 World Cup, recalling a moment from Archer's past alongside the events of the semifinal.
