AB de Villiers, a Proteas legend, will coach the Titans' black African batting camp this winter.
The camp aims to fast-track the development of talented black African batsmen. De Villiers' inclusion as a coach will undoubtedly accelerate the players' development.
During the first edition, the Titans' coaching staff mentored a group of five promising batsmen over three days. White-ball captain Sibonelo Makhanya also visited the young men and participated in a net session.
Titans CEO Jacques Faul said:
“It’s always great when a former player gives back to the game of cricket, and there are none bigger than AB de Villiers. His inclusion will be massive to the players in the batting camp and will definitely fast-track their progress and careers.”
