David Bedingham has rejoined the Western Province squad for the T20 Challenge.
The 29-year-old batsman was absent from the 4-Day Series final defeat to the Central Gauteng Lions after representing the Proteas in two Tests in New Zealand.
Kyle Verreynne will captain the team. Wayne Parnell returns to the side after a lengthy injury layoff and his participation in the SA20 for the Pretoria Capitals following his full recovery.
WP will play against the KZN Dolphins in their first match of the tournament at Kingsmead on Friday at 6 pm.
