Crowds lined the streets of Delhi to welcome the team as they made their way to the ITC Maurya Hotel on Thursday morning. Led by Captain Rohit Sharma, the players were greeted with lively drum beats and energetic dance performances. A grand feast awaited them, featuring Virat Kohli's favourite dish, Chola Bhatura, and a specially designed cake adorned with team pictures and the colours of the Indian jersey.
The chef at the hotel expressed pride in preparing a meal fit for champions, reflecting the admiration and respect they have for the team. Fans cheered and applauded as Team India arrived at the hotel, revelling in their recent victory.

After meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi, the team will continue their celebrations in Mumbai.
