CSA T20 Challenge 2024: Men’s Division 2

In the men's Division 2, Limpopo Impalas defeated the reigning CSA 4-Day Series champions, Northern Cape Heat, by six wickets in Polokwane.

Despite missing out on a spot in the 4-Day Series final last month, the Impalas won the CSA T20 Knockout title comfortably with a six-wicket victory.

The Heat scored 132/9 in their allotted 20 overs, with Ernest Kemm top-scoring with 42 runs after electing to bat first.

Daniel van der Merwe led the Impalas' bowling attack, taking 4/18 in three overs. Don Radebe supported him with two wickets, and together they contained the visitors' batting lineup.

In response, Sizwe Masondo scored an unbeaten 51, while skipper Ruan Haasbroek contributed 35 runs and van der Merwe added a quickfire 18 off 8 deliveries, guiding the hosts to victory with seven balls to spare.
