Bryce Parsons scored a century to lead the Hollywoodbets Dolphins to a 30-run victory over the Momentum Multiply Titans in Centurion on Wednesday, using the DLS Method.
Parsons remained unbeaten on 102* off 48 deliveries, hitting 8 fours and 7 sixes.
He and Jon-Jon Smuts (61* off 33, including 8 fours and 2 sixes) formed an unbroken 156-run partnership, helping the visitors to post a competitive total of 184 runs for the Titans to chase.
The play was abandoned early due to bad weather. The visitors were 29-1 after 3.2 overs following an early breakthrough from David Wiese, who dismissed Grant Roelofsen for 11 runs. The match was eventually reduced to 14 overs per side.
The Titans faced a daunting target, but the Dolphins' bowling unit consistently chipped away at the opposition's batting lineup, ultimately limiting them to 152/5 in their allotted 14 overs.
