Having reached two finals in the last three seasons, the KZN Dolphins are eager to get back into T20 mode when the T20 Challenge gets underway.
The Dolphins face Western Province in their opening match at Kingsmead, marking a challenging start to an extended T20 Challenge.
The tournament will consist of a double round, with teams playing each other both at home and away.
This extended format aims to provide players with ample T20 cricket experience ahead of the T20 World Cup. This is an exciting addition for fans who have been deprived of domestic T20 cricket. The tournament has been played in one venue for the last three seasons.
Dolphins captain Keshav Maharaj said:
“The SA20 has given a lot of players exposure, it also helped in increasing skill levels and cricket awareness, so players have been upskilled through the tournament.”
