Veteran spinner Amit Mishra recently discussed the contrasting personalities of Indian cricket team members Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Mishra pointed out that Kohli, due to fame and power, has fewer friends within the team compared to Rohit, who remains down-to-earth despite his status.
During an appearance on Shubhankar Mishra's show 'Unplugged', Amit Mishra highlighted the distinct differences between the two players and mentioned that he shares a closer bond with Rohit. Mishra noted that Kohli's persona has changed over time, possibly influenced by his fame and power.
Mishra echoed sentiments expressed by Yuvraj Singh about Kohli's transformation from the days when he was known as 'Cheeku'. Despite these changes, both Kohli and Rohit were crucial members of India's victorious T20 World Cup team in 2024, after which they both retired from T20Is.
