Heinrich Klaasen has been impressive in white-ball cricket over the past year, particularly with his batting performance in the ICC World Cup 2024 and for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League 2024. He has shown great skill in hitting fours and sixes and has proven to be a challenge for bowlers.

In a recent interview with Cricbuzz, Klaasen mentioned the names of two Indian spinners who have been difficult to face.
“Yuzvendra Chahal is a class bowler and a very good friend. He bowls wicket-taking line and length, and even if you hit him for boundaries, he doesn’t stop from giving the ball flight. I have known him for years, and it is good to take him down, but that’s not easy by any means.”
In the 17th season, Klaasen has scored 186 runs in just five matches, with an impressive average of 62 and a strike rate of 193.75. He has also hit two fifties, 17 sixes, and 7 fours.
