The Northern Cape Heat defeated the Free State Knights by four runs in the second T20 Knockout semi-final in Bloemfontein on Thursday.
The Heat will face the Limpopo Impalas, who defeated the Eastern Cape Iinyathi by 17 runs on Wednesday, in Sunday's Division 2 final in Polokwane.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, the Heat posted 186-5, with Jonathan Vandiar (56), CP Klijhans (46), Hanu Viljoen (25*), Grant Thompson (22) and Modiri Litheko (19) making important contributions.
Jacques Snyman took figures of 2-20 from his four overs for Free State.
Tshepo Ntuli, Ernest Kemm, and Basheer Walters took two wickets apiece. They restricted the Knights to 182-9.
Isaac Dikgale was the top scorer for the hosts with 43, while Patrick Botha scored 33, and Dian Forrester scored 25.
