India captain Rohit Sharma downplayed concerns about his team's struggles against spin in their 2-0 ODI series loss to Sri Lanka. India lost 27 wickets to spin, the highest in a three-match series.

Rohit acknowledged the need for improved strategies, stating, "We were definitely put under pressure. We need to review our game plans and come back with different strategies."

Despite Rohit's two half-centuries, India's middle order faltered against the turning ball. In the series, India collapsed repeatedly, failing to chase targets of 231, 241, and 237.

Rohit denied complacency, saying, "It's a joke. We came to win every game, but Sri Lanka outplayed us."

India lost all three tosses and struggled with conditions under lights. To counteract the spin, India included Riyan Parag, who impressed with 3 for 54 on ODI debut. Rohit explained the bowling changes were based on conditions and opportunities for younger players.

Looking ahead, Rohit focused on addressing their performance issues, with the next ODI series against England scheduled for January. "A series loss isn't the end of the world," he said. "It's important to move on and come back stronger."
