Jaydev Unadkat is set to rejoin Sussex for the 2024 County Championship, marking his second straight season with the club. The Indian left-arm pacer will participate in the team's final five matches, alongside his teammate Cheteshwar Pujara. Unadkat shared his enthusiasm about returning to Hove, calling it his "second home." His goal is to help Sussex earn promotion back to Division One, highlighting the team's impressive performance to date.
During his previous season with Sussex in 2023, Unadkat made a notable impact by taking 11 wickets at an average of 24.18, contributing to the team’s third-place finish in Division 2. His standout moment included a six-wicket haul against Leicestershire, achieved despite an ankle injury.
