The Rajasthan Royals have enlisted Proteas spinner Keshav Maharaj as a replacement for the injured Prasidh Krishna.
Maharaj, 34, is making his IPL debut.
Royals director of cricket Kumar Sangakkara said:
“Keshav is a great addition to our squad with his quality and understanding of the game. He is hugely experienced and an outstanding individual off the field as well.”
Maharaj joined the Royals in Jaipur on Thursday. He will be available for selection for the team's next match against Mumbai Indians on Monday.
