New record of batter Sahil from Estonia

On June 17th, Estonia's Sahil Chauhan etched his name in men's T20I cricket history with an extraordinary performance. Chauhan not only achieved the fastest century in all T20s, reaching the milestone in just 27 deliveries, but he also set a new record for the most sixes in a men's T20I innings, smashing 18 maximums.

Chauhan's incredible display eclipsed the previous record held by Chris Gayle, who scored a hundred off 30 balls while playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2013. The record-breaking match occurred during a bilateral series in Episkopi, where Estonia played two matches on the same day and emerged victorious in both encounters.

Despite being dismissed for a golden duck in one game, Chauhan's spectacular century in the other match secured his place in the cricketing records. Estonia had a rough start, but Chauhan quickly changed the game’s dynamics by hitting two sixes and a four off his first three legal deliveries. He then hit Mangala Gunasekara for four sixes and a four in one over, reaching his half-century in just 14 balls.

Chauhan's momentum continued as he smashed four sixes off Chamal Sadun in the eighth over and added three more in the subsequent over off Neeraj Tiwari, with the last of those bringing up his hundred. After reaching his century, Chauhan maintained his aggressive approach, ensuring Estonia chased down their target with a boundary off the last ball of the 13th over. He finished with an extraordinary strike rate of 351.21.

Chauhan's remarkable innings not only helped Estonia to a commanding victory but also set new benchmarks in T20I cricket for both the fastest hundred and the most sixes in an innings.
