The South African cricket team has announced the 15-member squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Aiden Markram, currently playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League 2024, will lead the Proteas in the West Indies and USA.
Quinton de Kock and Heinrich Klaasen are the key batters with the potential to make an impact. Keshav Maharaj has also been given the opportunity to demonstrate his abilities on slow and turning tracks. Mr. Shamsi is the other specialist spinner in the team.
Kagiso Rabada will spearhead the fast-bowling attack.
