Pandya was warmly greeted in Vadodara

Hardik Pandya, the versatile all-rounder who played a pivotal role in India's successful T20 World Cup campaign, was warmly welcomed in Vadodara on Monday. Alongside his brother Krunal Pandya, the duo kickstarted their cricket journey with the Baroda team in this very city.

In a video posted by PTI, Pandya could be seen greeting a large gathering from atop a bus during a festive roadshow. Just recently, he made history by becoming the first Indian player to attain the top spot in the ICC men's T20I all-rounder rankings, sharing the pinnacle with Sri Lanka's Wanindu Hasaranga.

Pandya's impact on India's T20 World Cup triumph was profound, particularly his standout performance in the thrilling final, where he made crucial breakthroughs. Throughout the tournament, he showcased fantastic form, consistently scoring quick runs and picking up key wickets.

During the jubilant T20 World Cup victory parade in Mumbai, Pandya took a moment to express his gratitude to the unwavering fans. He took to social media to share a video, conveying his heartfelt thanks to India for their overwhelming support and joining in the nationwide celebration of their triumph. Led by skipper Rohit Sharma, the team paraded through Mumbai, with fans exuberantly commemorating the historic victory with sheer delight.
