The CSA has announced the home international schedule for the 2024-25 season.Keshav Maharaj
The Proteas will play Sri Lanka in two Tests and Pakistan in all formats, while the Proteas Women will host England in all formats.
The summer begins with South Africa A taking on Sri Lanka A in three 50-over matches (31 August - 4 September) and two four-dayers (8-18 September).
The Proteas then take on Sri Lanka in the first Test at Kingsmead in Durban on 27 November before hosting the second Test at St George's Park in Gqeberha from 5 December.
The Proteas Women's tour of England runs concurrently, starting with a three-match T20I series from 24-30 November. The three-match ODI series follows from 4-11 December at venues across the country, with the annual Black Day returning to Kingsmead on 8 December.
Laura Wolvaardt's side will then take on England in the first women's Test on home soil since 2002. The four-day match will be played at the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein from 15 December.
Aiden Markram's T20I side will take on Pakistan in three T20Is from 10-14 December, while Temba Bavuma will lead the ODI side in three matches from 17-22 December, with Pink Day on 22 December at the Wanderers in Johannesburg.
The Proteas' final assignment of the summer will be a two-match Test series against Pakistan, starting with the Boxing Day Test in Centurion on 26 December, before Bavuma's side travel to Cape Town for the New Year's Test at Newlands on 3 January.
