Clive Madande was Zimbabwe's last recognised batsman and he found support in Wellington Masakadza. They alternated the batting regularly as Bangladesh eased the pressure for a while. The pair added 75 runs, Zimbabwe's highest partnership for the eighth wicket in T20Is. It almost broke the all-time record of 80. Madande struck six fours in his 39-ball 43, while Masakadza's 34 off 38 balls was his highest T20I score.
