Shabnim Ismail delivers the fastest ball in women's cricket
On Tuesday, during the Women's Premier League, Shabnim Ismail, a former Proteas pace bowler, bowled the fastest ball ever recorded in women's cricket.
The second delivery of her third over for the Mumbai Indians against the Delhi Capitals was clocked at 132.1 km/h.
Ismail finished with figures of 1-46 from her four overs. The Capitals were 192 for 4.
Mumbai lost by 29 runs after being restricted to 163 for 8.
