Supersport Park prepares to host a crucial Jukskei derby
The Momentum Multiply Titans and the DP World Lions are set to face off in the final showdown of the CSA 4-Day Competition. The stakes are high as a win or draw could secure a spot in the final for either team.
The Momentum Multiply Titans aim to start strong at their home ground. After the disappointing draw against the AET Tuskers in Pietermaritzburg, the Titans are eager to get back on the field. Head Coach Mandla Mashimbyi believes that trusting their processes and having a stronger desire will help his team secure a win.
Despite the weather having the final say in The Momentum Multiply Titan's previous outing, there were positives that can be used to maintain momentum. Matthew Kleinveldt and Joshua Van Heerden both demonstrated impressive mental fortitude to score their respective centuries.
The match was shortened and Dewald Brevis was unable to show his batting prowess. However, he was outstanding with the ball. In his 19 overs, he took 4 wickets and conceded only 65 runs. The Titans will be without their skipper, Neil Brand, and will depend heavily on their other star players to achieve success.
The match will take place at SuperSport Park from 21 to 23 February 2024. Admission is free, and the public is encouraged to come out and show their support for The Momentum Multiply Titans.
