The KZN Dolphins recorded a five-wicket victory over the EP Warriors in the T20 Challenge semi-final at Kingsmead on Thursday.
The Dolphins will take on the Central Gauteng Lions in the final at the Wanderers on Sunday (14:00).
On Thursday, the Warriors posted 161-4 after being put in to bat, with Andile Mogakane scoring a 45-ball 77 with four fours and four sixes.
Mogakane shared a 78-run partnership with captain Matthew Breetzke (38 off 35 balls) and put on 53 with Jordan Hermann (20* off 17).
In reply, the Dolphins' Khaya Zondo (49 off 23 balls, five fours, three sixes) took charge during the powerplay and forged a 64-run opening stand with Grant Roelofsen (16 off 12).
Jon Jon Smuts (34 off 26) and Jason Smith (30* off 18) then ensured that the Dolphins reached their target with two overs to spare.
