T20 Challenge summary: Tuskers cause upset against Titans

Cameron Delport's unbeaten 83 led the KZN Inland Tuskers to a six-wicket victory over the Northern Titans in Centurion on Sunday.

Delport hit six sixes and five fours in a 49-ball innings, helping the visitors chase down 166 with 14 balls remaining. This win was only their second of the campaign, but they remain at the bottom of the T20 Challenge log.

The KZN Dolphins also won, defeating the North West Dragons by 19 runs in Potchefstroom. Marques Ackerman and Eathan Bosch both scored half-centuries.

The game between Western Province and the Boland Rocks in Cape Town was a no-result due to rain.

Delport's performance stood out for the Tuskers team, which has struggled this season.

After winning the toss, the Pietermaritzburg-based team chose to bowl first and successfully limited the home team to a score of 165-6.

Despite Lhuan-dre Pretorius scoring the highest with 58 (43 balls, 10 fours), Steve Stolk (22), Sibonelo Makhanya (28), and Neil Brand (32*) also provided support.

Kurtlyn Mannikam was the most successful bowler for the Tuskers, claiming a tidy 3-28. The Titans were caught off guard by Delport's destructive display.

Firstly, he partnered with Kagiso Rapulana to score 71 runs in just 7.3 overs. Afterwards, Cameron Shekleton (15) and Keith Dudgeon (28) contributed to finish the task.
