On Friday, the Central Gauteng Lions defeated the KZN Dolphins by seven wickets in a rain-reduced match in Johannesburg.
Codi Yusuf's three wickets (3-15) limited the away side to 98-6 at the Wanderers, making it a T9 match.
The majority of the Dolphins' runs were scored by openers Bryce Parsons (36) and Grant Roelofsen (27).
Ryan Rickelton continued his impressive form, scoring an unbeaten 53 off just 23 balls (including four fours and four sixes), leading his team to victory with four balls to spare. This win strengthens the Lions' hold on second place and brings them within five points of the Warriors, despite having played an additional game.
