The KZN Inland Tuskers will not play their T20 Challenge matches at the Pietermaritzburg Oval due to the presence of pins and glass shards on the field.
These hazardous materials were left behind after the KZN State of the Province address by Premier Nomusa Dube-Ncube on 28 February.
Although the Tuskers players, coaches, and ground staff made efforts to clear the field, CSA has deemed it unsuitable for play.
Last Friday, a match between KZN Inland and Free State B teams was cancelled due to a Free State player sustaining minor injuries from the pins on the outfield. Additionally, a school match between Hilton and Michaelhouse, originally scheduled to be played at Pietermaritzburg Oval, was relocated to another stadium.
The Tuskers will now play their home matches at their opponents' stadiums, beginning with Friday's match against the North West Dragons in Potchefstroom.
