The Proteas duo are expected to provide the impetus for the Dragons' performance
The North West Dragons have made two significant acquisitions ahead of the 2024-25 domestic season.
Both Proteas fast bowler Marco Jansen and batsman Janneman Malan will return to the province where they began their provincial careers.
Jansen spent time with the Knights and Warriors after leaving the Dragons in 2018, while Malan was in Potchefstroom from 2015-16 to 2017-18, before moving on to the Lions, Western Province, and Boland.
North West CEO Ismail Minty told Rapport newspaper:
“It’s a great privilege for us to have Janneman back at the Dragons. And Marco always wanted to come back and be with his twin brother, Duan.”
The Proteas will be without the services of Senuran Muthusamy, who will either return to Durban or join the Northern Titans.
