Ticket Sales Announced By CSA

JOHANNESBURG: South African cricket enthusiasts can look forward to an exhilarating cricket season as tickets for the international inbound series featuring the Proteas Men and Proteas Women will go on sale on Monday, 26 August.

Kicking off the season is a thrilling four-match T20 International (T20I) series between the two finalists of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. The Proteas Men will be eager to settle the score as they face off against India from 08 – 15 November.

Following the T20I series, the Proteas Men will host Sri Lanka for a two-match Test series, beginning in Durban at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium from 27 November to 01 December. The series will conclude in Gqeberha at Dafabet St George’s Park from 05 – 09 December.

A comprehensive all-format tour against Pakistan is set to unfold during the peak of this summer season, running from 10 December to 07 January. This schedule includes a three-match T20I series and a One-Day International (ODI) series, highlighted by the much-anticipated return of Pink Day on 22 December at DP World Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. The home season for the Proteas Men will wrap up with a two-match Test series, featuring a Boxing Day Test at SuperSport Park in Centurion (26 – 30 December) and the New Year’s Test at World Sports Betting Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town (03 – 07 January).

Meanwhile, the Proteas Women will welcome England for a multi-format tour from 24 November to 18 December. The tour will commence with three T20I matches held in East London, Benoni, and Centurion, followed by three ODIs in Kimberley, Durban, and Potchefstroom. Notably, the second ODI on 08 December at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium will mark the fourth edition of Black Day, aimed at raising awareness against gender-based violence.

In a significant milestone, Bloemfontein will host its first-ever women’s Test match at Mangaung Oval from 15 to 18 December.
