Miller's retirement has been postponed

David Miller has clarified that he has not retired from T20 international cricket, contrary to speculation following South Africa's loss to India in the T20 World Cup final.

Miller took to Instagram to dismiss rumours of his retirement from T20Is, affirming that he remains available to play for the Proteas. He emphasised that he is looking forward to continuing his career, suggesting that his best performances are still ahead.

Miller played a crucial role in South Africa's journey to their first-ever T20 World Cup final, scoring 169 runs at an average of 28.16 during the tournament. His contributions were significant in the team's historic achievement.

There is also speculation surrounding another experienced player, Quinton de Kock, potentially considering retirement from T20 international cricket. De Kock has already retired from international test cricket and ODIs, indicating a possible transition phase for South Africa's team dynamics.

Miller's statement reassures fans and supporters that he remains committed to representing South Africa in T20 cricket, highlighting his determination to contribute to future successes for the Proteas.
