Saffas in the spotlight as Dutch dominate Namibia

On Thursday, South Africans Michael Levitt and Sybrand Engelbrecht led the Netherlands to a 59-run victory against Namibia in the Nepal T20I Tri-Series.

Levitt, who attended SACS in Cape Town and represented Western Province U19, scored 135 off 62 balls, which is the highest-ever T20I score by a Netherlands batsman. His innings included 11 fours and 10 sixes.

Engelbrecht, who was born in Johannesburg and played for South Africa U19 at the 2008 World Cup, scored 75 runs off 40 balls (including seven fours and six sixes) as the Netherlands achieved a mammoth total of 247-5.

Jan Frylinck, who was born in Bellville and previously played for Boland and Griquas, scored 47 runs off 27 balls in Namibia's response, but they ultimately fell well short with a total of 188-7.
