Bangladesh survived a late onslaught from Faraz Akram to beat Zimbabwe by nine runs in the third T20I on Tuesday in Chittagong. The hosts sealed the five-match series 3-0.
Faraz, playing his first match of the series, hit an unbeaten 34 off 19 balls, a record for a Zimbabwean batting at No 10, but the visitors were still bowled out for 156-9.
Faraz and Wellington Masakadza put on 54 for the ninth wicket to lift their side from 91-8.
The visitors needed 21 runs from the final over, but Mohammad Saifuddin bowled Masakadza with the first ball to put Bangladesh back on top.
Saifuddin, who took 3-42, held his nerve to concede just three runs off the last three balls.
Earlier, Towhid Hridoy scored his maiden T20I fifty off 38 balls to help the hosts recover from a sluggish start after being put in to bat first.
Jaker Ali supported Towhid with a 34-ball 44 as the pair put on 87 for the fourth wicket.
Blessing Muzarabani took 3-14 for Zimbabwe, a career-best figure, but his teammates struggled to contain the innings.
Muzarabani bowled Liton Das for 12 when the opener shuffled across to play a paddle sweep and missed the line of the ball.
Captain Sikandar Raza bowled his opposite number Najmul Hossain Shanto for six to leave Bangladesh 29 for two.
Jaker joined Towhid after Faraz scalped opener Tanzid Hasan for 21 to help Bangladesh change gear.
In the penultimate over, Muzarabani bowled Towhid and Jaker in the space of three balls.
Bangladesh won the first two matches to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series.
The final two matches of the series are played in Dhaka on Friday and Sunday.
