The ninth edition of the Women’s Asia Cup is set to commence on Friday, July 19 in Sri Lanka. This T20I tournament, a precursor to the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Bangladesh in October-November, will feature eight teams.
The teams will be split into two groups of four during the initial round-robin phase. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. The tournament will culminate with the final match at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla on July 28.
India enters as the defending champions, having triumphed over Sri Lanka in the previous final in 2022. Except their loss to Bangladesh in the 2018 final in Malaysia, India has been dominant in the Asia Cup.

Group 1: India, Nepal, Pakistan, and United Arab Emirates.
Group 2: Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Thailand.
